Cop26 Coalition Ireland organising nationwide event
Protests are take place across the country today calling on the Government to ensure there are radical cuts in emissions.
The demonstrations by 39 groups are being held in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Belfast and Derry.
Cop26 Coalition Ireland which is organising the events says the Government must ensure global warming is kept below 1.5 degrees.
