Worth approx. €127,000
Revenue has seized over 42,000 litres of beer at Rosslare Europort.
The smuggled alcohol - worth approximately €127,000 - was discovered in two trailers that had arrived from Dunkirk, in France.
Separately, a judge at Wexford District Court granted two cash detention orders for three months, following the seizure of €9,000.
The cash was found during routine operations, with the help of Jasper the detector dog - who searched a van that was booked on a ferry to Spain.
Revenue suspects the money was intended for use in, or the proceeds of, crime.
