Some Childcare Providers Won't Allow Children To Return For 2 Weeks After Foreign Holidays.

Covid cases among children under 18 years of age accounted for a third of all infections.

Some childcare providers won't allow children to return to creches for up to two weeks if they've been abroad.

Facilities have told parents they'll continue enforcing the 14-day quarantine rule, due to the Delta variant of Covid-19.

New HSE figures show Covid cases among children under 18 years of age accounted for a third of all infections recorded over the last two weeks.

Elaine Dunne, Chair of the Federation of Early Childhood Providers, says they have to keep children and staff safe:
