An independent report reviewing their working conditions remains unpublished.
Student Nurses are to hold a demonstration in Dublin today, to highlight their poor treatment during the pandemic.
They say Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has refused to publish an independent report reviewing allowances for student nurses and pay rates for 4th year students, on paid internship placement.
Tomorrow I will move a Dáil motion calling for the publication of the report into pay & allowances for student nurses & midwives, for action on this, for the booster jab to be rolled out to front line health care workers & an expediting of negotiations on a recognition payment.
