Garda are appealing for witnesses.
A teenage boy's being treated in hospital for serious injuries after he was knocked down in County Offaly.
He was walking on Church Road in Tullamore when he was hit by a jeep at around a quarter past 2 yesterday afternoon.
The pedestrian is receiving care in the Midland Regional Hospital in the town, while the driver of the jeep hasn't been injured.
Garda are appealing for witnesses.
