A young man has died after the car he was driving crashed in County Donegal.
This crash happened in Kerrykeel shortly after 3.30 this morning when the car collided with a pole on the roadside.
A 19-year-old man who was driving the car - has died, and his body has been removed for a post-mortem examination.
Another person, who was in the car, is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The R246 road in Ranny remains closed with diversions in place as a technical exam of the scene is carried out.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen the crash, or anyone who has dash-cam footage, to come forward.
