He's been given a 2 year sentence.
A young man who armed himself with a kitchen knife before getting involved in a violent row that led to the murder of Cameron Blair in Cork, has been jailed for two years.
19 year old Scott O'Connor of Churchfield Square, Churchfield, Cork, was one of three boys whom Cameron let into a house party he was attending last year.
The teenage boy who stabbed him has been sentenced for his murder while another teenager is awaiting sentence for his role in the confrontation.
The court heard Scott O'Connor tried to claim the college students were the aggressors, but now accepts that wasn't the case.
After passing sentence, the judge described Cameron, who was a student at Cork IT as a "fine young man" who was just trying to calm everyone down.
