The investment will go towards employees benefits and pay.
Tesco Ireland has announced a 40 million euro investment in pay and benefits for its retail workers.
The company's offering an overall pay increase of 10% with a portion of that back-dated to April 2021.
Some 1,000 employees have already begun saving for their retirement since the retailer began enhancing its benefit and pension plans last month.
They also say 70 colleagues are currently benefiting from paid maternity, paternity, and adoptive leave.
