The Father Of Emily Hand Will Fly To Israel This Afternoon As Hope Rises For His Nine-Year-Old Daughter's Release

He has previously said he'll believe a deal to release hostages is in place when he sees it.

Emily Hand is on a list of hostages to be released by Hamas, according to Israeli media.

The 9-nine-year-old Irish-Israeli is believed to be held captive by the group in Gaza.

Israel and Hamas have agreed a four-day pause in fighting - which will allow dozens of hostages to be released.

The Government says it's doing everything it can to ensure the release Emily Hand, who was abducted 46 days ago.

Emily's father, Tom Hand, is on his way to Israel this afternoon.

He has previously said he'll believe a deal to release hostages is in place when he sees it.

Mr. Hand initially thought his daughter was dead, but was later told she was kidnapped.
