The Heatwave Is To End On Friday.

Temperatures today could hit 30 degrees, in places.

Ireland's heatwave's to end tomorrow, with cooler temperatures set to emerge over the weekend, according to a meteorologist.

Yesterday was the warmest day of the year so far, with a high of 30.8 degrees recorded at Mount Dillon in Co Roscommon.

Met Eireann has two high temperature warnings in place until tomorrow morning.

Cathal Nolan, from Ireland's Weather Channel, says the hot conditions are to stick around for a little while yet:
