The three colleges are Trinity, UCD and University of Galway
Three Irish universities have made the top 100 in a new list of the best ranked colleges.
Trinity College Dublin is 31st in the QS World University Rankings for Europe.
UCD came 71st and the University of Galway came 98th.
The University of Oxford topped the list out of 688 universities in Europe.
The poll is based on a number of factors including global recognition, research and employment outcomes.
