First city in Ireland, outside of Dublin
Uber has expanded its Irish operations to Limerick.
From today, those looking for a taxi in the south-west city will be able to book one through the Uber app.
It's the first city outside Dublin, to receive the service.
General Manager of Uber Ireland, Kieran Harte, explains why the company chose to expand to Limerick:
