Investigations are underway in Sligo following the death of a woman in her 40s, who was hit by a train yesterday afternoon.
Her body has been removed to Sligo University Hospital, where a postmortem is expected take place.
Jessica McLoughlin was killed in the incident near Ballisodare, County Sligo at around 4 o'clock yesterday.
It's believed she was walking on the tracks with her niece at the time, who's being treated in hospital for serious injuries.
Jessica's body was removed from the scene late last night, following a forensic examination.
Three investigations will be carried out - by Gardaí, Irish Rail and the Rail Accident investigation unit.
Services resumed this morning, and the track has since reopened.
