Woman Rushed To Hospital After Suffering Serious Burn Injuries During Assault In Clondalkin

The attack happened shortly after 10 o'clock this morning, and a man was also injured.

A woman has suffered serious burn injuries after an assault in Clondalkin in Dublin.

The attack happened shortly after 10am this morning.

A man was also injured.

Gardaí say the attack happened at a home in the Oak Downs area of Clondalkin.

Two people were removed to hospital, a woman with serious burn injuries and a man who suffered injuries believed to be non-life threatening

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

A senior investigating officer has been appointed and an incident room has been established at Clondalkin Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information about this attack to contact them at any station or on the Garda confidential line.
