Patrick (Pat) Corrigan

Ballysax, Curragh, and formerly of Wicklow

Patrick (Pat) Corrigan, Ballysax, Curragh, Co. Kildare and formerly of Hollywood, Co. Wicklow.

Pat passed away peacefully in his 93rd year, at the home of his son Andrew, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Betty, his brothers Frank, Sean, Andy and Jim, and his sister Eileen.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons Andrew, Patrick Jr and David, daughters Mary, Liz and Carmel, daughters in law Mary and Fionnuala, sons in law Pat and Alan, his adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Peter, sister Sheila, neighbours, wide circle of friends, and extended family.

Pat was the current President of the Irish Sheep Shearers Association and the Wicklow Cheviot Sheep Breeders, organisations to which he gave many years of dedicated service.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Pat's carers for their kindness, compassion and dedicated care.

They would also like to acknowledge and thank his grandchildren, whose love, support and care brought him great comfort and happiness, particularly in his later years.

May Pat's gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town on Monday (15th June) from 3pm.

Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors at 6.30pm to arrive at St. Brigids Church, The Curragh for evening prayers at 7pm.

Requiem mass will take place on Tuesday morning (16th June) at 11am followed by burial in Holy Cross cemetery, Suncroft.

Pat's funeral mass will be live streamed through St Brigid's Church Facebook Page.
