The news was announced earlier as the country continues to re-open.

The Gaelic Athletic Association has confirmed that 100 supporters will be able to attend matches in the Republic of Ireland from next Monday.

In grounds of over 5000 capacity, that number rises to 200 and the Association hopes to permit 500 fans to games next month.

Dressing rooms will be closed for club fixtures.

The Kildare footballers play Meath in the Allianz NFL Division 2 semi-final in Newbridge in a couple of weeks time.

Meanwhile, the hurlers are away to Roscommon this coming Sunday in Division 2B of the Allianz NHL.
