Attention turns to the UPMC Hurling Championships this weekend, with a number of games down for decision today.

In the Senior B Championship, Clane play Naas and it’s Kilcock against Moorefield.

Both games throw-in at 4 o’clock.

Then, at 6 o’clock this evening, Celbridge play Eire Og Corra Choill, Confey play Naas and Ardclough play Maynooth in the Senior Championship.

Last night, Ellistown played Ballykelly in the Tom Cross Transport Junior Football Championship.

The full time score in that game was Ellistown 1-14 Ballykelly 6 points.

SOCCER

A new era for the Republic of Ireland gets underway this evening against some very familiar opposition.

Ireland play England in the Nations League in the Aviva Stadium.

Kick-off is at 5 o'clock.

Racing continues today in Navan at 2.15pm.
