The 51-year-old has signed a contract extension.
The IRFU have confirmed that Andy Farrell will continue as Ireland head coach beyond next year's Rugby World Cup.
Farrell's previous deal was due to run until after the 2027 Rugby World Cup, but that is now extended.
The 51-year-old has signed a contract extension running until the 2031 edition of the tournament.
Farrell had been linked with a move to English club Saracens, as their new Director of Rugby.
