Annual GAA County Board Convention Takes Place Tonight.

Takes place in the Osprey Hotel in Naas.

The annual GAA County Board convention takes place tonight in the Osprey Hotel, Naas.

All the outgoing officers will be returned unopposed.

Treasurer Alan Dunny will report a surplus of €1.1 million for the year.

€650,000 of that will be transferred to the St. Conleth’s Park Development Fund, which will now stand at €1.65 million.

A total of €819,000 has been spent on the project so far, but no redevelopment work has begun.

Team preparation expenses were €839,000, while payroll costs were €93,000.

Tomorrow morning's Kildare Today will review the convention at 10.45am.
