Farrell says he feels online abuse can be "damaging" for young players.
Ireland rugby head coach Andy Farrell has hit out at "keyboard warriors", for the abuse aimed at Sam Prendergast and Jack Crowley.
Prendergast has faced criticism in the wake of Saturday's 20-13 win over Italy, while Crowley missed a late kick to touch which could have given Ireland a chance for a bonus-point.
Farrell says both out-halves are strong characters, but he feels online abuse can be "damaging" for young players.
