Monday Morning: Ballyteague Winners Of The Intermediate County Title

Naas are the winners of the Senior Camogie Final.

County Intermediate and Junior football titles for Ballyteague and Straffan respectively.

 Yesterday, Ballyteague beat Castledermot by 2-13 to 1-12.  On Saturday, Straffan beat Kill by 2-13 to 0-15

 There were Camogie titles for Celbridge, Maynooth, Nurney and Clane yesterday

 In the senior final, Naas beat Celbridge by 5-12 to 2-11.

 

 Maynooth beat Cappagh by 0-8 to 1-4 in the intermediate final

 Nurney are Junior A champions, beating Ardclough 2-12 to 1-7

 Clane won the Junior B final by 3-7 to Celbridge’s 2-4

 This morning’s Kildare Today will review the weekend GAA at 10.45

 Attention now turns to next Sunday’s senior and Minor mens football finals

 Tonight, Leicester are home to Notts Forest

In the KDFL, Senior Division leaders Athy Town beat Naas 5 nil.

 2nd placed town rivals Clonmullion beat Kildare Town 8 nil.

 The title will be decided in the final game of the Division next weekend.

At the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland Rory McIlroy tied for fourth place at 13-under-par

 Ryan Fox won on 15-under.

Padraig Harrington finished on nine-under-par and in a tie for 17th.

Sergio Perez won a rain affected Singapore Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver finished ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc (pr: le-clair) with his team mate Carlos Sainz (pr: signs) third.

World Champion Max Verstappen finished seventh, meaning his wait to lift a second successive title goes on to next week's race in Japan.
