Ireland play France on February 2nd
Peter O'Mahony has been named as Ireland captain for the upcoming Guinness Six Nations.
The announcement came as head coach Andy Farrell named a 34-man squad for the tournament, which begins on the 2nd of February against France in Marseille.
Eadestown's Tadhg Beirne and Athy's Jeremy Loughman are the only Kildare players included, as Jimmy O'Brien misses out through injury.
