Kildare's bid for Leinster senior ladies football glory ended 2-12 to 2-6 as Dublin won.
Kildare were beaten by Dublin in today's Leinster Senior Ladies Football Final at Croke Park by 2-12 to 2-6.
The Lilywhites trailed by six points late on in the second-half, before Nanci Murphy was shown a yellow card and momentum firmly had shifted to Dublin.
Despite the result, Kildare battled throughout the game to remain competitive.
The result ends a strong provincial campaign for Kildare, who can take plenty of positives from reaching another Leinster final and will now turn their attention to the All-Ireland series.
