Stephen Kenny's side play Luxembourg and Portugal this week.

Callum O'Dowda has been called into the Republic of Ireland squad.

The Bristol City winger takes the place of James Collins, who has withdrawn due to injury.

Stephen Kenny's squad begin preparations today for this week's World Cup qualifiers as they round off their group campaign.

Maynooth's Mark Travers and Leixlip pair Nathan Collins and Andrew Omobamidele are involved.

Ireland host Portugal at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday before a trip to Luxembourg on Sunday.
