Alex Dunne has qualified on the front row for Sunday's Formula 2 feature race at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
The Offaly driver set the second-fastest time at the Red Bull Ring, finishing just over a tenth of a second behind pole-sitter Noel León.
Dunner, who is fourth in the championship standings, will also contest Saturday's sprint race.
Derry's Fionn McLaughlin qualified 23rd for the Formula 3 event.
