Win preserves Coill Dubh's senior hurling status
Coill Dubh have preserved their Kildare Senior Hurling status.
They beat intermediate champions Maynooth by 1-18 to 0-19 in the 2020 Haven Hire Promotion/Relegation Play-off at St Conleth's Park.
Maynooth had a good start and led by 7 points after the opening 20 minutes.
Coill Dubh cut the deficit before the break, and took the lead for the first time just minutes after the restart.
Both sides had strong periods in the second half, but in the end Ryan Casey’s 42nd minute goal proved the difference between the two sides.
