Former Republic of Ireland women's assistant coach Colin Healy will be making a formal complaint to the FAI's HR department.
Healy has alleged - last November the FAI's director of football Marc Canham gave him the impression his contract would be extended.
However - 'a few minutes' before announcing head coach Eileen Gleeson was being let go - Canham phoned Healy to say he wasn't being retained.
Healy - whose wife Kelly passed away last year - had already turned down a job with Cobh Ramblers to stay working for the FAI.
