Number 8 back on the pitch running
The Ireland coaching team are optimistic that Jack Conan will be fit enough to return against South Africa next week.
The back row forward hasn't featured at the Rugby World Cup due to the foot injury he picked up in the warm up game against Italy last month.
The number 8 stepped up his recovery at Ireland’s training base in Tours today, as he was back out on the pitch running.
Dan Sheehan, Robbie Henshaw and Dave Kilcoyne could be available for selection for Saturday’s World Cup meeting with Tonga in Nantes.
Meanwhile Craig Casey is hoping Munster's URC win will increase Ireland's chances of World Cup success.
The Ireland scrum-half was part of the Munster team that beat the Stormers in the URC final in South Africa.
Casey believes the achievement can help him personally as well as the team.
