Croke Park Bid To Host Katie Taylor's Final Fight Suffers Setback

Peter McKenna suggested last week Taylor's fight could be joined by the clash of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

The bid for Croke Park hosting Katie Taylor's final professional fight this September have suffered a significant setback.

The stadium's chief executive Peter McKenna suggested last week that the Bray boxer's fight could be joined by the proposed clash of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

But Eddie Hearn - promoter of both Taylor and Joshua - has suggested that heavyweight bout is close to being agreed for a November date instead.
