Duff will be in the stands on Friday night
Damien Duff has received a one-match ban following his red card during Shelbourne's defeat to St Patrick’s Athletic last week.
Duff was sent off after the game and was also pictured making a gesture at the crowd following the full-time whistle.
He will not be on the touchline for Friday’s match at home to Derry City.
The former Republic of Ireland International was previously sent off away to Dundalk last season.
Shelbourne are sixth in the table, nine points ahead of the relegation play-off position and the same amount behind the guaranteed European place in third which Pat’s currently occupy.
