He's been at the helm since 2016.

Davy Fitzgerald has stepped down as Wexford senior hurling manager after five years in charge.

The former Clare goalkeeper says he's 'never felt closer or happier with any team' than during his time with the Models.

Fitzgerald oversaw Wexford's Leinster title success in 2019 and his last game at the helm was their qualifier loss to Clare earlier this month.
