The Kildare senior ladies footballers' incredible run in this year's All Ireland SFC came to an end on Saturday evening.
Pat Sullivan's side were beaten 3-12 to 0-12 by Kerry in Tralee in the quarter-final of the competition.
It marks the end of a superb campaign for the Lilywhites, which saw them retain their Division 1 league status and reach a senior quarter-final for the first time ever.
Elsewhere, the Kildare camogie side suffered relegation from the intermediate championship.
They were beaten 3-21 to 0-9 by Westmeath in Kiltale.
