Double Gold For Team Ireland At World Rowing Championships

It was a satisfying week for those in Green as they come home with 2 gold and 2 bronze medals for the week

Team Ireland secured two gold medals during the final day of the World Rowing Championships in Shanghai.

Galway's Fiona Murtagh upset the odds on the way to finishing first by just three hundredths of a second in the Women's Single Sculls.

Then, Fintan McCarthy won his second medal of the tournament in the Mixed Double Sculls alongside Margaret Cremen.

It was a satisfying week for those in Green as they come home with 2 gold and 2 bronze medals for the week.
