Dublin Boost Leinster Hopes with Win Over Wexford

Dublin's victory over Wexford improves their chances of reaching the Leinster knockout stages.

Dublin strengthened their chances of reaching the knockout stages of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship with a 2-21 to 0-22 win over Wexford at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

First half goals from David Purcell and Cian O'Sullivan helped the visitors build a nine-point at the break.

Wexford battled hard in the second half, with Lee Chin scoring 14 points, but Dublin had done enough to secure an important win.

The result is significant for Kildare, who are in the same round-robin group.

Dublin now travel to face Galway next, while Wexford are under pressure with their remaining games being Offaly and Galway, and Kildare face Kilkenny next.
