First half goals from David Purcell and Cian O'Sullivan helped the visitors build a nine-point at the break.
Wexford battled hard in the second half, with Lee Chin scoring 14 points, but Dublin had done enough to secure an important win.
The result is significant for Kildare, who are in the same round-robin group.
Dublin now travel to face Galway next, while Wexford are under pressure with their remaining games being Offaly and Galway, and Kildare face Kilkenny next.
