Lions head coach Andy Farrell has picked a record eight Irish players for Saturday's first Test against
Eadestown’s Tadhg Beirne has been picked at blindside flanker, with Dan Sheehan, Tadhg Furlong, Joe McCarthy and Jack Conan also selected to start in the pack.
Jamison Gibson-Park is at scrum-half with James Lowe on the wing, and Hugo Keenan at full-back.
