England Sign Off World Cup With Entertaining Bronze Medal Win

England finished third at the FIFA World Cup after edging France 6-4 in a dramatic ten-goal thriller.

England ended their World Cup campaign on a high by beating France 6-4 to claim the bronze medal in Miami.

Buyako Saka was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick as England raced into a commanding first-half lead with Declan Rice and Ezri Konsa also finding the net.

France mounted a spirited comeback, with Kylian Mbappé scoring twice to move clear in the race for the Golden Boot and become the tournament's all-time leading scorer.

However, England held their nerve in an action-packed finale.

Saka completed his treble from the penalty spot, before substitute Judge Bellingham sealed victory with a superb stoppage-time goal, securing England's best men's World Cup finish since lifting the trophy in 1966.
