King returns to lead the girls in green against England

Erin King returns from injury to captain Ireland in their Women's Six Nations opener.

King missed the end of last year's Six Nations and the World Cup but is back in the pack for the Twickenham clash.

Saturday's match against world champions England also sees a first tournament start for Vicky Elmes Kinlan on the left wing.

Uncapped prop Eilïs Cahill and scrum-half Katie Whelan are in line for their debuts off the replacements bench.

Cliodhna Moloney-MacDonald who earns her 50th cap as the starting hooker.
