Ireland women's coach Carla Ward calls for support for players amid Israel fallout as Connolly, Brosnan and Kiernan return for World Cup qualifiers.

Carla Ward has revealed that FAI chief executive David Courell will address the media 'soon' in relation to the Men's Nations League.

The Ireland senior women's head coach was asked about the contentious games against Israel.

The FAI have not spoken to the media since last week's draw.

Ward believes that the players will need support throughout the process

Meanwhile, Megan Connolly is back in Ward's 23-player squad for the World Cup qualifiers.

The Lazio centre-back has been listed with the midfielders - having been absent through injury at the end of 2025.

There's also a place for goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan, while Leanne Kiernan is also included.

Ireland begin their campaign against France on March 3rd before facing the Netherlands four days later.
