The 33-year-old scored as the French beat Croatia in the 2018 final in Moscow.
In total he scored 44 goals in 137 international appearances - including twice against Ireland in the Euro 2016 last-sixteen.
Griezmann will continue to play for his Spanish club, Atletico Madrid.
