Friday am Sport: Kildare Hurlers & Footballers in Weekend Action

The Kildare football and hurling teams are preparing for action tomorrow and Sunday.

The footballers play Tipperary in the Tailteann Cup tomorrow in Clonmel at 4pm.l

On Sunday, the hurlers play Laois in O’Moore Park at 3pm.

Kfm will have commentary of both games in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown.

Jhonattan Vegas leads ahead of day two at the PGA Championship in North Carolina.

The Venezuelan is seven-under-par, two strokes clear of Ryan Gerard and Cam Davis.

Tom McKibbin is best of the Irish on one-under, with Seamus Power one-over.

Padraig Harrington and Shane Lowry will both resume from two-over-par later today.

Masters champion Rory McIlroy is three-over.

In the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division tonight, Shelbourne play Bohemians at Dalymount Park.

Waterford host leaders Shamrock Rovers.  Second placed Derry City are away to Drogheda United.

St Pat's are home to Cork City. Galway United play Sligo Rovers.

Teenager Lamine Yamal was on the scoresheet as they beat derby rivals Espanyol 2-nil.

Hansi Flick's team had already won the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup this season.

Its the final regular season Round 18 of the URC this weekend.

Munster will look to cement their place in the top eight in the United Rugby Championship tonight.

They start the night in eighth place ahead of their final round match against Benetton at 8pm at Virgin Media Park.

Ulster make the trip to Edinburgh for a 7.35 start.
