Friday Lunch: Preliminary Quarter Finals In Senior & Intermediate Football Championship This Weekend

Beginning this evening in Hawkfield

GAELIC GAMES

Kicking off this weekend's action Eadestown meet St. Laurence's in the Joe Mallon Motors SFC Preliminary Quarter-Finals.

This evening's game in Hawkfield throws-in at 7pm.

The winner of that game will face Clane in the quarter-finals on Sunday, 4th September.

 

Then on Sunday, a Newbridge derby - Sarsfields v Moorefield.

The pair meet in St. Conleth's Park, Newbridge at 5.30pm.

The winner will play reigning County Champions Naas, on Sunday, 4th September.

McIlroy is seven-under-par, with Scottie Scheffler out in front on 15-under.

He tees off at 6.25pm Irish time, alongside Open Champion Cameron Smith.

The IRFU have announced the appointment of Daragh Sheridan as the Head of High Performance Coach Development.

Sheridan, is a former professional soccer player who represented Aston Villa, Galway United and Longford Town.

The first of seven races on the flat at Tipperary begins at 4.15pm.
