Three Kildare Teams in Weekend League action;

Three Kildare teams are in weekend League games.

Glenn Ryan’s footballers play Meath on Sunday, at 2pm, in the last game to be played in St. Conleth’s Park, ahead of its redevelopment.

A win is a must for Kildare to keep their chances of participation in the All Ireland series alive.

Diane Ó Hora’s women footballers complete their Lidl League on Sunday, at 2pm, in Hawkfield against Wexford.

Kildare have won all their Division 3 games, apart from the loss to Louth and top the Division from Wexford.

 

Joe Quaids county camogie side have a Very Ireland Division 3A semi final vs Carlow in Abbotstown tomorrow at 12 noon.

Kildare won two of their three Division games.

 

The Hanlon Concrete Senior Football League begins tomorrow, with all games at 5pm.

Tonight’s scheduled Rheban vs Ballykelly game is now fixed for next Tuesday evening.

Skipper Seamus Coleman is an injury doubt.

The French host the Netherlands in Paris tonight, while Gibraltar meet Greece in Faro.

Both games kick off at 7.45.


The Republic of Ireland women's team are up one place to 22nd in the latest world rankings.

The USA, who Ireland play twice next month, remain number one.

Two of the teams that Vera Pauw's side will face at the World Cup, Canada and Australia, are both in the top 10.
