The Leinster Rugby team to play Emirates Lions in Round 17 of the BKT United Rugby Championship tomorrow at 3pm Irish time has been named

Rhys Ruddock captains the team in Johannesburg, with Leinster Academy fly-half Suncroft's Sam Prendergast set to make his Leinster debut.

Chris Cosgrave starts at full-back. On the wings, Dave Kearney will make his 150th league appearance, while there is a welcome return for Tommy O’Brien after recovering from a knee injury.

In the centre, Liam Turner is joined by Ben Brownlee.

Ireland Under-20 fly-half Prendergast makes his debut, with Nick McCarthy partnering him at scrum-half.

In the front row, Georgia international Vakhtang Abdaladze will pack down with Michael Milne and Lee Barron.

Brian Deeny joins South African international Jason Jenkins in the second row, with Ruddock, Donadea's Will Connors and Max Deegan forming the back-row.

Ulster can move up to second in the United Rugby Championship with a win at home to struggling Dragons this evening.

The Curragh will honour both Lester Piggott and Kevin Manning at their race day on Sunday.

 The race day will also feature a unique exhibition celebrating the career of Lester Piggott which will take place on Level 1 of the Curragh grandstand.

The Curragh will also honour the riding career of Kevin Manning who retired late last year after an outstanding career in the saddle.

His Curragh wins included the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby on Trading Leather, the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas, the Irish Oaks and Group 1 victories including the Tattersalls Gold Cup

Racing begins at 1.25.

The Joseph O'Brien trained 'Fakir D'oudairies' is the favourite for the Marsh Chase, today's feature race at Aintree.

The 2 and a half mile contest goes to post at 3.30.

It's one of four Grade One races on the card on Grand National weekend with racing underway today at 1:45pm

There are also meetings here at home at Dundalk - which begins at 4.35, and Ballinrobe, where the first race is off at 4.50
