The Kildare minor footballers and U20 hurlers continue their preparations for their respective Leinster championship games tomorrow.

The minors play Longford in St Conleth’s Park at 12 midday and Kfm will have live updates with Ger McNally.

Meanwhile at 2 o’clock, the U20 hurlers play Meath in Pairc Tailteann, Navan.

Cork's senior footballers hit back at Munster GAA last night, saying they will play their Munster football championship semi-final at Páirc Uí Rinn or nowhere.

The game has been moved from Páirc Uí Chaiomh to Killarney due to an Ed Sheeran concert taking place at the Cork venue.

The Munster CCC removed home advantage from Cork as they deemed Páirc Uí Rinn's capacity was too small for the game.

Bruno Fernandes has extended his contract at Manchester United.

The Portugal midfielder, who arrived at Old Trafford in January 2020, has signed a new deal with the Premier League club until June 2026 - with the option of an extra year.

Fernandes has scored 49 goals and 39 assists in 117 games for United.

The draw for the World Cup will be made from 5pm this evening, with England among the top seeds for the group stages.

They're in pot one alongside countries including Brazil, Spain, France and hosts Qatar.

Wales are in the bottom group of seeds, but are yet to be assured of a place at the tournament.
