The Kildare hurlers and Carlow meet in the Joe McDonagh Cup in Netwatch Cullen Park at 3pm tomorrow

GAA

No rest for Kildare following last Sunday’s Division 2A final defeat to Offaly.

 Kildare and Carlow meet in the Joe McDonagh Cup in Netwatch Cullen Park at 3pm tomorrow afternoon.

 It’s the first of five consecutive weekend games for Kildare in this competition.

 This game will be followed over the next four weekends: home to Offaly, home to Kerry, away to Laois, home to Down.

 Kfm will have commentary of tomorrow’s match with Ger McNally and Seamus Dillon, in association with Hanlon Concrete Robertstown.

Today, the Minor Hurlers play Meath in Hawkfield at 2pm and on Monday, the U20 hurlers play Kerry in a Tier 2, Group 2, Round 2 game in O’Moore Park, Portlaoise at 2pm.

This morning's Kildare Today with Eoin Beatty with look ahead to all the action.

GOLF

Rory McIlroy says his game was not quite at the level he wanted on day one at the Masters.

The Holywood native finished on level par after carding an opening round of 72 at Augusta.

That leaves McIlroy seven shots off the lead, with Viktor Hovland, Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm at the head of the field.

Shane Lowry is best of the Irish on four-under, with Seamus Power one over and Matthew McClean on five-over-par.

RUGBY

A place in the semi-finals of the Heineken Champions Cup is on offer for Leinster tonight.

Leo Cullen's side face Leicester in their quarter-final tie at the Aviva Stadium.

The hosts will be without Josh van der Flier and Johnny Sexton, but Garry Ringrose is back in the team.

Eadestown’s Jimmy O'Brien moves to the wing in place of Jordan Larmour.

Kick off is at 8pm.

In the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup, Scarlets host Clermont Auvergne.

SOCCER

SSE Airtricity League Premier Division leaders Bohemians face a big test of their title credentials tonight.

They take on reigning champions Shamrock Rovers from 7.45 at a sold-out Dalymount Park.

Elsewhere, Derry City host Drogheda United while Sligo Rovers go to Dundalk.

Bottom side UCD face Dublin neighbours Shelbourne and St. Pat's entertain Cork City.

==

In the First Division leaders Galway United are away to Wexford.

Elsewhere, Bray host Athlone, Waterford go to Cobh, Longford face Treaty United and Finn Harps make the long trip to Kerry.

==

A packed day of Championship action could see Burnley return to the Premier League.

Defeat for Luton on their trip to Millwall this lunchtime, coupled with victory for the leaders at Middlesbrough tonight, would see Vincent Kompany's side go up with seven games to spare.

SNOOKER

Dubliner Ken Doherty takes on England's Hammad Miah in a World Championship qualifier this afternoon.

The first to ten frames in Sheffield will progress.
