Four Kildare teams in action this weekend; Man United let a 2-0 lead slip against Sevilla.

 

GAA

Four more Kildare teams in action over the weekend:

On Sunday the senior women play Clare in the Lidl League Division 3 football final in Parnell Park at 4pm. Kfm will have full commentary with Ger McNally & former Kildare captain Aisling Holton. 

The senior hurlers Joe McDonagh game vs Offaly has been confirmed for Hawkfield at 2pm on Sunday: live coverage on Kfm.

Before that game, Kfm will broadcast live, at 1.10pm,  the Draw for this year's Senior Hurling Championship.

Tomorrow, at 12 noon. Kildare minor hurlers play Laois in Clane; and at 2pm, Kildare U20 hurlers play Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park - Kfm will have live updates of that game

SOCCER

Manchester United let a two-goal lead slip to draw with Sevilla in the Europa League last night.

The first leg of their quarter-final finished 2-all at Old Trafford, with Harry Maguire's own goal in added time levelling the tie.

Lisandro Martinez was stretchered off and the extent of his injury is uncertain.

The return leg takes place next Thursday.

In the Conference League, Danny Ings was on the mark for West Ham in their 1-all draw with Gent.


There are two Dublin derbies down for decision in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division tonight.

Leaders Bohemians host St Patrick's Athletic at Dalymount Park.

And Damien Duff takes his Shelbourne side to play Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght.

Tonight's other game is at the Belfield Bowl, where UCD face Cork City.

All three matches kick off at 7.45.

RUGBY

Ulster continue their United Rugby Championship campaign this evening.

Dan McFarland's side welcome the Dragons to Kingspan Stadium for a 7.35 start.

GOLF

Shane Lowry will resume from one-under-par on day two of the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head in South Carolina.

Viktor Hovland is the leader on seven-under, with Seamus Power well back on six-over.

RACING

There are four Grade Ones on the card on day two of the Grand National Festival at Aintree.

The first of today's seven races is off at 1.45.

Here at home, there's racing at both Ballinrobe and Dundalk this evening.
