GAA

A busy weekend for Kildare Teams across the board.

On Saturday from 2pm, Kildare Camogie team take on Armagh in Manguard Park Hawkfield.

In the Ladies National Football League Kildare play Meath in Manguard Park from 5pm.

Then Kildare Senior Men’s welcome Meath to Cedral St Conleth’s Park, with throw-in at 7pm.

 

On Sunday, In the Allianz Hurling League Division 1B, Kildare travel to Fontenoy park to play Down from quarter-to-1.

Kfm will have live updates of all games.

 

Kfm is, also, awarding a player of the match for each of this season's Kildare football and hurling league games, sponsored by Frank McMahon and Co Accountants Kildare, Naas and Dublin

SOCCER

The FAI's Disciplinary Committee Unit has fined Drogheda United 15-thousand euro after flares were thrown onto the pitch at Oriel Park at last week's Louth derby against Dundalk.

Drogheda supporters will also be banned from attending the next four away league matches.

Sports Minister Patrick O'Donovan has commended the FAI and League of Ireland for 'acting swiftly and decisively'.

 

A Dublin derby between leaders Bohemians and reigning champions Shamrock Rovers takes centre stage in the League of Ireland Premier Division tonight.

The two sides meet at Dalymount Park, where kick-off is at 8pm.

Four games get underway at 7.45pm, with Drogheda playing host to Shelbourne and Dundalk making the trip to Richmond Park to face St Pat's.

Galway United face Sligo Rovers in the Connacht derby while Derry City have home advantage against Waterford.

 

RUGBY

Leinster return to URC action this evening.

Robbie Henshaw is back from a knee injury to start, as Leo Cullen's side go to Cardiff for a 7 o'clock kick-off.

 

DARTS

Home favourite Josh Rock hit a nine-dart finish at the Premier League Darts in Belfast last night.

He produced the perfect leg in his 6-2 defeat to Gian van Veen.

The Dutch native went on to lose the final to Stephen Bunting by the same scoreline.

 

RACING

There's an eight-race card on the all-weather at Dundalk this evening, the first goes to post at 3:50pm.
