Keeping you up to date on GAA, soccer, rugby and golf.

GAA

In the Leinster U20 Football Championship Quarter Final last night Kildare played Westmeath.

The Full Time Score was Kildare 1.20, Westmeath 2.12.

Kildare now progress to the Semi-Final vs. Meath on Wednesday April 29th.

This morning’s Kildare Today from 10:40 and this evenings Kildare Preview Show from 6.25 looks ahead to all of The Kildare weekend sporting action.

SOCCER

St Pat's will be looking to stay within reach of leaders Shamrock Rovers in the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division this evening.

Manager Stephen Kenny welcomes his old club Bohemians to Richmond Park for tonight's Dublin derby.

Kick-off in Inchicore is at 7.45pm.

Rovers, meanwhile, make the trip to Derry City, for their first-ever home game at Derry GAA's Celtic Park at 8.

Elsewhere, bottom side Waterford are still on the hunt for a first win of the season; they play Galway United, and Drogheda United make the trip down the M1 to face Shelbourne at Tolka Park.

There’s just one game this evening in the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest can put daylight between themselves and the bottom three, with a win away to Sunderland.

That game at the Stadium of Light is underway from 8pm.

RUGBY

Erin King will lead Ireland in their captain's run in Clermont this morning ahead of tomorrow's Women's Six Nations clash with France.

Scott Bemand's side are looking to record a first-ever away win on French soil this weekend.

GOLF

The action continues at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans today.

Seamus Power got off to a solid start in his partnership with Matti Schmid.

The pair combined for an opening round of nine under, and will return to the course at around 7pm Irish time.

Shane Lowry reeled off four successive birdies early in his opening round with Brooks Koepka - they sit on six-under.

The American duo of Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer lead the way after Day One, on 14-under.
