There’s a double header in Cedral St Conleth’s Park on Saturday where The Kildare Senior Ladies take on Kerry from 3pm.

Then from 5.30pm The Kildare Senior Men’s play Kerry in The All Ireland Football Championship 2B.

Kfm will have full live commentary in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown.

A reminder that this mornings Kildare Today from 10.40am and this evening from 6.25pm, Kfm will preview all of the Kildare weekend sporting action.

SOCCER

Co-hosts Mexico are off to a winning start at the 2026 World Cup finals in Group A.

A goal either side of half time, saw them beat South Africa 2-nil in Mexico City.

Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley says they're in "a really good place" heading into tonight's Dublin derby at Shelbourne.

Rovers come into the game with a six-point lead at the summit of the Premier Division of the SSE Airtricity League.

Elsewhere, Galway United take on Dundalk at Turner's Cross and Drogheda United travel to St Pat's.

Basement side Waterford face Sligo and Derry City are at home against Bohemians.

DARTS

Ireland will be hoping to seal a spot in the knock-out stages of the World Cup of Darts later.

Having beaten Singapore on the opening night, Willie O'Connor and Mickey Mansell will face Gibraltar in Frankfurt.

Victory would secure Ireland's qualification from the group.

GOLF

Shane Lowry is just one shot off the lead after the first day of golf's Canadian Open.

The former Open champion has started with a five-under-par round of 65, and five players share the lead at six-under.

Brooks Koepka is one of six players tied at the top of leaderboard.

Seamus Power goes into day two at one-over, with Padraig Harrington three-over.

While on the LPGA Tour, Leona Maguire and American Lindy Duncan are in action at the Dow Championship in Michigan

They'll tee off this lunchtime after opening with a solid two-under-par round of 68 yesterday.

RACING

There is a seven race-card on offer in Fairyhouse this evening, with the first going to post at 5.02pm, and there's also an eight-race meeting at Gowran Park, which gets underway at 4:15pm.
