It’s understood Brian Flanagan will continue as manager for The Kildare Senior Men Footballers.
Flanagan was appointed Kildare Senior Football Manager in 2024 on a four-year term.
Following a comprehensive review of the 2026 season, he will remain as Kildare Senior Football Manager for the year 2027, with the full support of the Kildare GAA Executive and Management Committee.
Galway are on the hunt for a new manager this morning, following the departure of Padraig Joyce last night.
He stepped down from his role in charge of the men's footballers after seven years.
